School Day

On 02 February 2023 we visited one of the School in Willowfounten. Since it the begging of the year we know that same of the learners they do have proper uniforms or school bags.

As the foundation we were about to provide at least 50 learners with new uniforms and school bags, but we still believe we can do better than this as many children are still in need.

Talk Show

We all know  Gender-based violence (GBV) is a global pandemic that affects one in three women in their lifetime, regardless of their social, economic or national status.

On this day we had a talk show with young boys from primary school. The plan was to educate them more about Gender-based violence and on how they can  prevent it when they become older.

It this case our website is mobile-friendly as many donors are using their mobile phones to look up website. Our website is also interactive and engaging, the Add Hope team always make sure that they respond to queries with extra-high speed. In a that we doing we always keep in mind that the non-profit world is all storytelling. In all that we put on our website we make that we engage the audience with the stories from the field, stories on the voices of beneficiaries themselves.

Social Media:

People are increasingly engaging with organisation of their interests on social media. Our social media platforms are always active and ready for any enquiry. What we publish on these platforms is important to engage with the audience, but keeping in mind that what is equally important is what others are saying.

Since social media act as a two-way channel, in this case we use our platforms as an advantage by having sound engagement strategy in place.

Legal and other compliance: We make sure that we comply with all the standards which include getting registered on portals like guidestar so that we can be recognized by the funding organisation, corporate foundations.

Fundraising and Vetting platforms:

Donors love no-hassle arrangement wherein they can make gifts to the organizations/ causes of their choice easily. Presence on these platforms is also driving the online perception and image of our organisation. It is high time our organisation benefitted from these easy fundraising avenues, if not enrolled already. One additional benefit these platforms offer is a seamless social media integration. This can aid our social media content work to some extent, while building an online donor community for the organisation

Integrated brand and marketing plan

Integrated brand and marketing plane is an approach to creating a unified and seamless experience for consumers to interact with the brand/enterprise. It attempts to meld all aspects of marketing communication such as advertising, sales promotion, public relations, direct marketing and social media through their respective mix of tactics, methods, channels, media and activities so that all work together as a unified force.

Social Media Marketing: Social media opens the door to building relationships, developing brand awareness and generating website traffic. When combined with email marketing and content marketing, digital marketing campaigns utilising social media will truly bring exceptional results by connecting with our targeted audience on a platform they are already spending time on regularly.

Identify different Marketing Communication:

This is where I determine the various marketing communication methods. We also consider our target audience which is the Youth around uMgungundlovu. We targeted the youth because we want to overcome social ills that affects them. We will use all the communication channels in sending information but mostly Facebook and Twitter, because most of the youth are using these platforms.

Content Marketing:

Make our content available online through blog content, video marketing, premium content and dynamic website content to help our potential donors/ investors to connect and learn more about the organisation before they start the decision-making process.

Email Marketing:

We also use email to re-engage our existing audience through unique and helpful content. We will send emails to different schools in informing them about our next campaign in their school and on how they can play part in making the campaign a success.
